The Pace University Art Gallery in Lower Manhattan is pleased to present “Dallies,” a solo exhibition of paintings, photographs, and mixed media works by Wyatt Kahn. The “Dallies” exhibit is on view concurrent with Kahn’s “Life in the Abstract,” an exhibition of seven monumental new Cor-Ten steel sculptures at City Hall Park, presented by the Public Art Fund. Just across Park Row from each other, both exhibits opened with public previews on Tuesday, June. “Dallies” will be on view in the gallery through September 9, 2022.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University hosted a Health Law and Policy Summit bringing together healthcare professionals and lawyers to discuss key legal issues for operations and transactions and for the delivery of healthcare in today’s changing landscape. Co-sponsored by Pace University’s College of Health Professions and the Westchester County Association, the event offered NYS Attorney CLE credit and included two thoughtful panel discussions led by Haub Law faculty who teach in the Law School’s Advanced Certificate in Health Law and Policy.

At the University’s first in-person graduation ceremony in three years, U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng delivered the commencement address to the graduates from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, and also received an honorary doctorate. This year marked the first year that Pace University held a combined ceremony for graduates of its campuses in New York City, Pleasantville, and White Plains. Delivering the commencement address for Pace University was Mayor Eric Adams, who also received an honorary doctorate. Finance and philanthropy leader, Baroness Ariane de Rothschild, a Pace alum, was also recognized.

Pace University’s documentary film team – PaceDocs – last night premiered Tide to Table: The Remarkable Journey of Oysters at the Jacob Burns Film Center.

More than 200 people turned out for the event, which was the first in-person premiere for the program since 2019, before the pandemic. The film continues a distinguished tradition of producing documentaries that shine a light on important environmental issues.

Alexis Sandler, an attorney with two decades of experience handling complex and diverse legal matters for a broad range of clients, including in the arts and entertainment and non-profit fields, has been named vice president and general counsel for Pace University.

Pace University will host, “At a Point of Change,” an outdoor student photography exhibition, which will line the fence on Frankfort Street outside One Pace Plaza in Lower Manhattan. The exhibit is open to the public and will run for two months, beginning May 9, 2022.

Three executives with an array of business experience in healthcare, finance, and law have joined Pace University’s Board of Trustees, the University today announced. The new trustees are Michael DiSimone, president, and CEO of PayFlex; Audrey Murphy, executive vice president and chief legal officer of Hackensack Meridian Health; and Zubeen Shroff, managing director of Galen Partners.

It will be the first in-person premiere for the program since 2019, before the pandemic, and continues a distinguished tradition of producing documentaries that shine a light on important environmental issues. Free tickets for the reception and screening are available, though space is limited.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is pleased to announce that U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng will deliver the law school’s commencement address and receive a Doctor of Laws, honoris causa at its 2022 Commencement, to be held on May 16, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. This is the first year that the law school will join Pace University for a university-wide commencement celebration of all Pace graduates. The ceremony will also include recognition of the Classes of 2020 and 2021, who were not able to have a traditional celebration due to pandemic-related restrictions.
