Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange) and Pace University have jointly approved a transfer agreement that provides a seamless and smooth pathway for SUNY Orange graduates to transfer to Pace and remain on track to earn a bachelor’s degree in four years. The schools announced the agreement on March 28, 2022 at SUNY Orange.

Pace University’s Actors Studio Drama School (ASDS) Master of Fine Arts Program today announced the final repertory season of the academic year; a seven-week layout of inspiring, collaborative performances, the culmination of the three-year training of the acting, directing, and playwriting cohort, the graduating Class of 2022.  Performances begin on March 23, 2022.

The celebration was the law school’s most successful fundraiser in history, raising vital funds in support of student scholarships.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is proud to announce that Professor Irene Oritseweyinmi Joe will deliver the 2022 Philip B. Blank Memorial Lecture on Attorney Ethics. Professor Joe joined the faculty at the UC Davis School of Law in 2016. Her lecture, Learning from Mistakes: Ethical Considerations for Public Defenders, will take place virtually on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 12:45 p.m. EST.

Bergen Community College and Pace University have signed a new dual admission agreement, allowing students who complete their studies at Bergen Community College in New Jersey to matriculate into Pace with junior standing. Presidents, provosts and administrators from Pace and Bergen made the announcement on March 10, 2022 during an in-person meeting of the two schools at Bergen Community College.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is proud to announce that Dean Horace E. Anderson Jr. was named to the “2022 Law Power 100” list published by City & State New York magazine. The list recognizes “New York legal professionals who aren’t simply influential in their field, but powerful in New York’s governmental landscape.” Dean Anderson was ranked #88 on the prestigious list, which includes district attorneys, federal prosecutors, white-collar defense attorneys, public interest lawyers and others who have shaped New York politics and government.

Instituted in 1989, the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition (NELMCC) is one of the nation’s largest interschool moot court competitions. Under pre-pandemic conditions, NELMCC is known for hosting as many as 350 law students and attorney judges on the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University’s Westchester campus. Despite the pandemic, last year, Haub Law did not skip a beat and hosted the first ever all virtual NELMCC – allowing students to continue to participate in the highly competitive competition. This year, still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Competition was held virtually once again.

Mr. and Mrs. Steven Rockefeller Jr., longtime residents of the Hudson Valley, philanthropists, and supporters of the arts, have donated a beautiful oil painting by a celebrated contemporary Chinese artist to Pace University. The painting, entitled Sunflower by Huang Yue, will be on display in a secure location at Pace’s Mortola Library. It was presented to President Marvin Krislov on Feb. 10, 2022 at The Choate Art Gallery on the Pleasantville campus.
