Pace University’s Sands College of Performing Arts has named Mandy Moore as director of its Commercial Dance LA semester. The BFA Commercial Dance Program was founded in 2012 and launched its first full semester in LA in 2018. The Commercial Dance program brings 35 students to Los Angeles in the spring semester of their junior year. The renowned choreographer will teach the choreography for its camera course and direct the showcase course.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is pleased to announce that Janene Marasciullo, an experienced trial attorney and a veteran of FINRA and the Department of Justice, will join the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University as the Director of its Fairbridge Investor Rights Clinic and an adjunct professor. In 2021, Haub Law received a generous five-year grant to name its Investor Rights Clinic (formerly the Securities Arbitration Clinic) after Fairbridge Asset Management.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams today announced the appointment of, and swore in, Robert S. Tucker, 1996 graduate from The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, as the 35th commissioner of the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY). In addition to graduating from Pace, Tucker also serves on the university’s Board of Trustees.

She has most recently served as executive director of the college since it launched in the fall of 2023 and as executive director of the Pace School of Performing Arts (PPA) since November 2021.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University is pleased to announce the creation of the Vanessa Merton Immigration Justice Fellowship, a key component of the school’s Immigration Justice Clinic focused on ensuring the legal system’s just treatment of immigrants in the Hudson Valley and local New York Metropolitan region. Barbara Sarmiento, a 2024 graduate of Haub Law, has been selected to serve as the program’s inaugural fellow beginning this fall.

Together with members of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, Westchester County Executive George Latimer signed the Safety Measures for Survivors of Domestic Violence Act. The Act is part of an ongoing effort to protect victims and survivors of domestic and gender-based violence. In part, the Act will provide free lock changes and the installation of a video doorbell at a domestic violence survivor’s home.
