If you are bilingual and hold a bachelor's degree, you already have one of the most sought-after skills in education today. Pace University's Adolescent Bilingual Education prepares candidates to teach in both languages in middle and high school classrooms across New York State. Designed for candidates ready to make a difference in the lives of children, this Transitional B (Trans B) pathway puts you in front of students in grades 7–12 from day one, earning a full-time salary and benefits while you pursue your master's degree.
The Trans B certificate is a temporary New York State teaching license that allows a candidate enrolled in an alternative teacher preparation program, such as Pace University’s ACE Program, to teach while completing their degree. The need for qualified bilingual teachers has never been greater with more than 26% of 5- to 17-year-olds nationwide being multilingual and speaking English at home. Through this earn-while-you-learn model, you will gain hands-on classroom experience teaching adolescent learners in two languages while simultaneously completing your MST at Pace, building the pedagogical skills and cultural competency to make a lasting impact on the students who need great teachers most.

- All Official Transcripts: Transcripts from every accredited college or university attended (not just the degree granting institution) must be sent either to Pace University, directly from the academic institution electronically or by mail, or forwarded by the applicant in sealed envelopes from the academic institution.
