Construction Management

Paul Campano focuses his practice on commercial litigation and appeals in state and federal courts. With over twenty years of experience, Paul has litigated a wide variety of matters in many jurisdictions on behalf of clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 50 companies to public entities

Mr. Chan graduated with a business degree from the American University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law. Mr. Chan is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars and has been admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, United District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. Mr. Chan also served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Karla Moskowitz of New York State Supreme Court – Commercial Division, New York County.

Mike joined Faithful+Gould in 2016 as a vice president and managing director leading the New York Metro Area office and infrastructure business line for the northeast,  bringing more than 35 years of construction and program management experience to the firm.  Prior to joining Faithful+Gould Mike was an associate vice president and principal project director with ARCADIS in their Infrastructure group. As the northeast’s infrastructure business line lead, Mike is driven to become a client’s trusted advisor by helping them find practical solutions that solve problems, save time and reduce cost.

Joe has devoted his career to the planning, estimation and delivery of intricate, medium-to-large endeavors. He is typically responsible for the coordinated efforts of clients, sponsors, architects, regulatory agencies, supply chain and delivery professionals in the controlled, composition of structures, properties and business strategies. His strong background in engineering, program management, data management and sales/support enable him to proactively address issues, minimizing risk, timeline & cost disruption.

Mor Diao is a registered Certified Construction Manager (CCM) and Project+. Mr. Diao has more than 10 years of CPM scheduling, project controls, and project management experience on the design, construction and management of civil, infrastructure, transportation, and commercial projects. His experience includes project and field cost reporting, trend analysis, change control, engineering and construction progress measurement, planning and scheduling, and resource optimization. Mr. Diao is currently serving as Project Controls Manager at HAKS responsible for oversight of the firm’s distinctive range of the Project Controls services, including scheduling and estimating.

Deirdre Harvey is a Certified Construction Manager from CM Certification Institute with 27 years of Construction Management experience. She works for New York City Transit on various infrastructure, line equipment and flood mitigation projects. Deirdre has chaired the Public Owners Caucus in the local chapter of Construction Manager Association of America, co-chairs the professional forum at her agency and is a delegate for the New York Interagency Engineering Council.

Joseph Macaluso is a Certified Cost Professional with over 25 years of experience estimating a large variety of construction projects in the public sector. He has worked for the New York City Transit Authority, NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, NYC School Construction Authority, and Empire State Development Corporation. In addition to estimating he has also reviewed construction budgets, prepared construction schedules, negotiated change orders, worked in the contract administration, and the grant administration areas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Long Island University.

Allison Minerva has 8 years’ experience in the construction industry, with a primary focus in heavy civil estimating for various companies. She has a bachelor’s degree in Physics from SUNY Fredonia and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University. In her career, she has worked for or in conjunction with numerous major construction companies in the New York City Metropolitan area; including Walsh Construction Company, Granite Construction, John P. Picone, Inc., Kiewit Corporation, Schiavone Construction Corp., Plaza, Tutor Perini, Dragados USA, Skanska USA, and others.

Michael Nash is a highly experienced engineering and construction professional with over 40 years experience implementing industrial and commercial projects. Mr. Nash has led multi-discipline engineering and construction teams implementing cost effective power plant, energy services, distributed generation and new technology projects at customer facilities. Mr. Nash is a Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager with hands on experience in the electric utility and energy services industries.

After earning a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia, Olivia began her career with Gilbane Building Company in 2012. At 27 years old, Olivia has quickly grown into an emerging leader in the construction industry. Upon joining Gilbane, Olivia worked on the NYC Rapid Repairs Project, providing emergency home repairs in the Rockaways in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Olivia then went on to be a Project Engineer for several New York Presbyterian Hospital projects. She trained new engineers on Gilbane’s systems and greatly contributed to the project’s success by stepping up as acting project manager and playing an integral role in turning over the Barbara Walters Acute Care Treatment Center.

John Delfino, Jr. Assoc. IALD, is a lighting designer with Available Light, where he designs lighting for architecture and museum exhibits. John has an MFA in Theatrical Design with a focus in Lighting from CalArts, where he both studied under lighting designer Anne Militello and worked at Visual Terrain. His diverse lighting design background ranges from live theater and dance to permanent installation work such as museums, architecture and themed entertainment.

Graphic - Web & Photography

Patrick Ibizugbe is a Fine Arts Portrait Photographer with more than 6 years’ professional photography experience. Before studying photography, Patrick spent 14 years working for fortune 100 companies developing Websites, Web Application, SEO, Web Analytics, Interactive Strategy, User Experience, and Business Modeling Strategies. Patrick is a world traveler and has studied photography all over the world with National Geographic’s, International Center of Photography, and the School of Visual arts. Patrick is a published photographer and retoucher in the United States. He has advance skills in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Muse, InDesign, Axure, Google NIK, Large Format Printing, Digital Color Management, Digital Photography Workflow, Studio and Location Lighting, Profoto and Canon systems.

Hariharan Natarajan has over 15 years mobile research and development experience including iOS, Android, Windows, Phone and Palm OS. He is currently the Vice President and Application Architect II at Bank of New York Mellon. He earned his BS in Computer Science from Periyar University and a Master of Computer Application in Computer Science that Bharathiar University. Instructor Natarajan currently teaches our Introduction to Object Oriented Software Development for Mobile Device Computing and Certificate in iPhone Application Development.

Eugenio Solis de Ovando is a Graphic Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in Digital Graphics. He provides services to advertisement agencies, newspapers, magazines, graphic design agencies, photography studios, universities, editorials, printers and others. Eugenio has advanced skills in Digital Retouching, 2D and 3D Infographics, Editorial Workflow, Digital Color Management, Digital Photography Workflow, Prepress, Web Design and Digital Publishing. Eugenio is a Trainer in Adobe Software.

Human Resources Management

Marie was born and raised in upstate New York in the city of Schenectady.  She graduated from Bryant and Stratton Business College with an Associate Degree in Business Management/Accounting.  She also graduated from Empire State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Economics & Finance.  She has been working in the payroll industry for 25 years, utilizing various in-house and outsourced payroll processes, procedures and payroll systems.

Ray LaManna is currently the owner of his own human resources consulting firm, specializing in employee relations, training and coaching. In addition, he is Professor of Management at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. Mr. LaManna has extensive experience in the human resources field. Prior to establishing his own firm, Ray held positions as Director of Human Resources at the Parish of Trinity Church on Wall Street, Human Resources Director of Integrated Resources Inc., a diversified financial services firm, where he was responsible for all employee relations, recruitment and compensation functions as well as HR positions at Wells Fargo Bank and JP Morgan Chase.

Jennifer Loftus is an Astron Solutions National Director and Founding Partner. She specializes in total rewards, salary surveys, opinion surveys, and HR technology. Jennifer has 22 years of experience garnered at Astron Solutions, Hay Group, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Eagle Electric Manufacturing Company, and Harcourt General. She has served as WorldatWork Local Network Leadership Council Chair and the West Region representative.  She is also a member of New York City SHRM (formerly HR/NY) and the New York Compensation Association.  Jennifer holds the position of NYC SHRM Past President.

As the Vice President of Client Compliance and HR Services for Brown & Brown of PA, Kim partners with organizations to provide a variety of business consulting, compliance management, and human resource related services. Additionally, she delivers a variety of presentations for organizations.

Sandra currently works at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) Columbia University. Her previous experiences include various capacities with global non-governmental and governmental organizations, including European Union, United Nations and Council of Europe.  Sandra holds Master of Science degrees in Organizational Psychology, and Negotiations and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University. Sandra received the certification from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) when working in Human Resources department at the Teachers College Columbia University.

Ray currently works as the Director of Human Resources for The Oaks at Denville, a SpringPoint Senior Living Community. Immediately prior to the Oaks, Ray was the Senior HR Generalist for the NorthEast Region for Five Guys Enterprises.  Ray has also worked in the telecommunications industry, including Apple, Flextronics, and SprintNextel in a variety of management roles. Ray has experience in the start up world having worked during the creation of Enhanced Wireless.

Project Management

John Sherlock is an accomplished and credentialed Project Management Professional with over 40 years of experience in the energy, financial, telecom, and automotive industries as well as in academia. John is currently an Adjunct Professor at Pace University and Rockland Community College (SUNY); and until recently, an IT Program Manager with Volvo Cars of North America. John is a PMP, a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, a Certified Six Sigma Instructor, a PMI-ATP Certified Instructor and also credentialed in the areas of software development, IT governance, risk, and audit.
