Get the preparation you need to manage talent, theatre companies, museums, dance companies, music organizations, art galleries, television production firms, and more. This program will equip you to launch an exciting and fulfilling career with opportunities in performing arts entertainment, and media management. We leverage our location in New York City and industry contacts to bring in stellar guest lecturers. This degree will provide you with the communication, management, leadership, knowledge, and skills to work behind the scenes in theatre companies, museums, dance companies, contemporary and classical music organizations, art galleries, talent representation and management companies, and television production firms. You will also have the opportunity to see Broadway shows and visit headquarters of entertainment companies.

Lubin's Arts and Entertainment program prepares you to analyze and respond as a manager to factors shaping the industry. The MS in Arts and Entertainment Management offers a strong business core that focuses on financial reporting, operations planning, staff scheduling, organizational development, and the process for policy development. You will get the skill set you need as a manager in this industry. Learn to analyze and respond as a manager to factors including changing laws, technological changes, union activities, cultural issues, and domestic and international trends.

The program has a good balance of business and management classes, and other classes such as Entertainment Law and Negotiations and Social Media Marketing. I believe that in order to be a good manager, you need to be knowledgeable about the different areas within a business organization.
