Training for Human Subject Research
All investigators performing research with human subjects must have a current certificate of training from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program in either the "Social & Behavioral Research – Basic/Refresher" course or the "Biomedical Research – Basic/Refresher" course.

Training for Animal Research
You must take the appropriate training courses at CITI. Check the box for Animal Care and Use and then check the appropriate boxes on the next page. Plan to take at minimum the “Working with the IACUC” course and the course specific to the animal you will be using.
