Summer housing for students in New York City cannot be offered on the Pace University campus this summer. We are able to offer on-campus housing to all Pace students in need of summer housing on the Pleasantville Campus. For more information about that option, please visit the Pleasantville Summer Student Housing page.
For those who need summer housing in NYC, we have partnered with Educational Housing Services (EHS) to provide summer housing. EHS will be able to provide accommodations at their 55 John St. residence Hall (a resident hall Pace has used as part of our on-campus housing for the last 20 years) at a rate that is commensurate with the standard Pace summer housing rate (note that commensurate rates are not necessarily exactly the same as that which would be charged by Pace).
Students in need of housing in New York City for the summer should visit the EHS website to begin the application process. Customer service representatives from Educational Housing Services will work with you to identify the best location for your summer needs and your budget. Students seeking housing with the EHS for the summer are not required to live in 55 John St., and are welcome to explore other options offered by EHS. Students who wish to be housed with EHS for the summer must sign a License Agreement with EHS no later than April 15 in order to be guaranteed housing at 55 John St., although Educational Housing Services has indicated that they will be able to continue offering housing options at many of their other locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn after April 15.
While Pace will not offer large-scale on-campus housing in NYC for students during the summer, we will work to accommodate any student with an SAS approved medical accommodation that cannot be met by Educational Housing Services, as well as student staff in housing operations, residential life, orientation and admissions staff who must remain in on campus housing as part of their summer jobs. If you believe EHS cannot meet your approved medical accommodation, please email Housing Operations.
Students in need of summer housing are not required to secure housing through EHS, but through our coordination with EHS, you can be assured that you will have placement in a nearby residential facility managed by an organization with which Pace has partnered for many years.
