Setter to Setter, a new structured mentorship initiative launching within the Neil S. Braun Mentorship Program, connects Pace students with accomplished alumni mentors for a guided mentorship experience focused on career exploration, professional development, and lifelong connections. Built on Pace's dynamic Setter Connect mentorship platform, this exclusive new program is set to roll out with 50 available student spots and 50 alumni available spots.

The Power of Mentorship

Meaningful mentorships can shape careers, build confidence, and open doors to new opportunities. Through intentional mentor-mentee connections, Setter to Setter helps students gain valuable career insights while giving alumni the opportunity to share their experiences, expand their networks, and make a lasting impact.

About the Program

Unlike informal networking, the Setter to Setter structured mentorship program provides participants with a guided mentorship experience designed to support meaningful conversations and relationship-building.

• Recommended conversation topics and engagement activities
• Support from the Office of Alumni Relations throughout the program

Who Should Participate?

Setter to Setter is built for students who want to:

• Forge a meaningful connection with a Pace alum who can provide guidance and support
• Gain insight from someone who has navigated academic, professional, and personal experiences similar to their own
• Develop confidence in setting goals, making decisions, and navigating their next steps
• Expand their understanding of opportunities available within the Pace Community
• Build a lifelong connection with a member of the Pace alumni network

• Share their experiences, knowledge, and perspective with the next generation of Setters
• Support a student’s growth through meaningful conversations and encouragement
• Strengthen their own leadership, communication, and coaching skills

How much time is required?
Mentors and mentees should plan to meet at least twice per month throughout the duration of the program.

Who can participate?
Students and alumni who are interested in professional development, networking, and mentorship opportunities.

How are participants matched?
Matches are based on career interests, goals, mentoring preferences, availability, and other relevant factors.

Do mentors need previous mentoring experience?
No. We are looking for alumni who are willing to share their experiences and provide guidance.
