Pace University students studying in front of a computer

The Honors Council is a group of dedicated Honors students who assume the most important leadership roles within the Pforzheimer Honors College. The Honors Council was founded in Fall 2007. The council serves as a venue for Honors students to explore their leadership abilities as well as social and academic curiosity.

The Honors Council plans and organizes events which benefit Honors students and the entire Pace Community. The Council is in charge of creating ideas that will invoke a sense of community within the Honors College and the rest of the student body. The Council also serves as a liaison between the Honors College and other campus organizations.

Honors Council members are encouraged to attend all events sponsored by Honors. Special consideration should be made by executive board members and committee co-chairs.

We are proud to announce our Honors Council Members for 2025-2026.

Isabella Kalavaci
Marketing Coordinator
Hello! My name is Isabella Kalavaci, and I am a sophomore economics major. I’m from Pleasantville, New York. Here at Pace, I was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta and Lambda Sigma, and I plan to be inducted into many more societies this year and the coming years! I also take part in Women in Economics. I have held many positions in many organizations in high school, from vice president to secretary, as well as being inducted in all five of the honor societies. When I’m not at Pace, I pursue and dedicate my time and effort to real estate. This was a little something about me!

Silas Gonzalez

Hi everyone! My name is Silas Gonzalez and I am an honors student studying computer science and law. As the Community Engagement Coordinator, I want to make sure everyone feels excited, included, and welcome at Pace! I am also a tutor in the Mortola Library Learning Commons, the Campus Director of the UN Millennium Fellowship, a member of the Lambda Sigma Honor Society, and a variety of Pace organizations. In my free time, I love reading, writing, gaming, watching movies, photography, and especially community service. When you see me on campus know I'd be happy to lend you a helping hand!

Samantha Sergi

Hi, my name is Samantha Sergi and I’m a sophomore studying psychology! I am from Pennsylvania. At Pace I am a treasurer for the Hip Hop Dance Club, member of the Setters Leadership Initiatives, member of Gamma Sigma Sigma, writing tutor at the Learning Commons, a part of the UN Millennium Fellowship-the list goes on. Being this involved on campus wasn't a part of my agenda but it's so worth it! Through these experiences, I hope to continue to strengthen my leadership skills and interpersonal skills.

Something interesting about myself is that I run a Summer Swim Team in my hometown of Rutherford, New Jersey.

Casey Rich
Data & Info Coordinator
I’m from a small town in Patterson, NY. I run my own clothing brand, which lets me be creative and work hard on something I love. I also assistant coach the girls’ varsity basketball team at my old high school, which is special to me because I get to help and support younger players. I love sports, especially football and basketball. They’ve always been a big part of my life. On the honors council, I’m the Data and Information Coordinator, which means I make surveys for our events and look at the results to see what we did well and what we can improve for next time.
