Students studying in front of a computer

The Honors Council is a group of dedicated honor students which assumes the most important leadership roles within the Pforzheimer Honors College. The Honors Council was founded in Fall 2007. The council serves as a venue for honors students to explore their leadership abilities as well as social and academic curiosity.

The Honors Council plans and organizes events which benefit Honors students and the entire Pace Community. The Council is in charge of creating ideas that will invoke a sense of community within the Honors College and the rest of the student body. The Council also serves as a liaison between the Honors College and other campus organizations.

Honors Council members are encouraged to attend all events sponsored by Honors. Special consideration should be made by executive board members and committee co-chairs.

We are proud to announce our Honors Council Members for 2021-2022

Keriana Calderon
President
Hi! My name is Keriana Calderon. I am a sophomore biological psychology major here on campus. I am a tour guide, covid support student assistant, on the cheerleading team and I am a part of NRHH. I always have loved being involved on campus to be able to learn and be around such different groups of people, and this is something I plan on continuing doing in my years to come at Pace!

Lisa Gentile
Secretary
My name is Lisa Gentile and I am a sophomore finance major. I was previously the treasurer of my high school’s student council and the vice president of my school’s Interact Club. Both of these leadership experiences have allowed me to gain insight into the world of service.

Some of my hobbies are reading, binging Netflix and tik tok, and hanging out with friends.
