Parents and Families of Future Students
Parents and Families Hub
Welcome to the Pace Community! As the parent or family member of a new Pace University student, you play an important role in helping them succeed. We know this is an exciting time—and sometimes an overwhelming one. That’s why we want to make sure you know about the key systems and services Pace offers to keep you informed, connected, and empowered to support your student from day one.
FERPA: Accessing Your Student’s Records
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects your student’s educational privacy. Under FERPA, your student must give Pace University authorization before the University can share details of their academic or financial records with you.

Managing Payments
TouchNet is Pace’s secure online payment system. It gives you and your student real-time access to account details, transaction histories, payment plan options, and more. To use TouchNet, your student must authorize you as a user. Once you have access, you can log in as an authorized user to:
- View the student account balance
- Make payments (via electronic check, credit card, or international payment)
- Enroll in a payment plan

Immunization
New York State Public Health Law requires that all college and university students enrolled for at least six (6) semester hours or the equivalent per semester, or at least four (4) semester hours per quarter to submit proof/documentation of immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and meningococcal disease. All immunization records and associated documentation must be submitted online through the university health care's confidential Patient Portal.
Safety and Security
Parents can register themselves temporarily on the Pace Alert system by visiting the Emergency Alerts website. There is a section on the web page that directs them to text PaceAlertSignup to shortcode 672-83. Students who are comfortable, can also log into their Pace Alert portal and add a parent cell number to their personal Emergency Notifications Contact Information for Pace Alerts. There are fields for up to three numbers.
Dining Services
Pace University offers diverse dining options and student-run businesses on both campuses, plus food security resources to ensure all community members have access to nutritious meals. Learn about meal plans, dining locations, mobile ordering, and hours, using the link below
Student Health Insurance
All full time undergraduate and graduate domestic and international students must have health insurance. Students are automatically enrolled in the school accident/sickness plan when they register.
Students may waive the school's insurance if they can provide proof of comparable coverage. See details below, and on the Health Insurance Waiver page. Students wishing to waive coverage with comparable coverage must do so before the deadline.

Next Gen Dynamic Forms
Next Gen Dynamic Forms is the secure electronic system your student will use to complete and sign important University documents. When a form requires your input, your student will enter your email address—then you'll receive a unique link to complete your section. You can also proactively create your own account on the Pace Forms Dashboard to track form status, review pending tasks, and download completed documents for your records.
