Tower Lorde
Scholastic Achievement Award
Tower Lorde is graduating summa cum laude with a combined degree, earning her BBA in Business Management and an MBA in Information Systems. Tower has maintained an impressive Lubin-high 3.98 GPA while also serving as a key player and captain of the Pace Women’s Basketball Team. Tower’s academic achievements earned her a spot on the Academic Distinction Fall NE10 Honor Roll; the CSC Academic All District Team, and the NE10 Winter Academic All Conference Team. Tower gained meaningful experience through internships with Rubis Eastern Caribbean and Pace Athletics, as well as helping run her family’s small business. In addition to her academic, athletic, and professional responsibilities, Tower took time to volunteer mentoring peers through the Excelsior Scholars Program, serving on the executive board of Beta Gamma Sigma, and working with the Pace Mobile Market food pantry, reflecting her strong sense of responsibility and community engagement. An international student from Barbados, Tower also participated in admitted-student events, where she spoke to prospective Lubin business students about her experiences here at Pace.
Kaylyn Sierra
Alumni Association Award
Kaylyn is a graduate of the combined degree program, completing her BBA in Business Management, a minor in Fashion Marketing, and her MS in Social Media Mobile Marketing. Kaylyn spent 2 years working with Pace Mart, one of Lubin’s student-run businesses, as the Senior Purchasing Manager. She also worked at the Pace Swimming Pool, where she taught children’s swim lessons. Kaylyn was an active member of the Pace Dominican Student Association, the Pace First-Generation Club, and the Tri-Alpha First-Gen Honor Society. In the summer and fall of 2024, Kaylyn interned at Bubble Skincare as a Community Marketing Intern. Currently, Kaylyn holds two internships: one at Milk Makeup as an Influencer Intern and another at Knix as a Community Marketing Intern. Additionally, throughout her five years at Pace, Kaylyn supported her family’s business, Sierra Landscaping, by working part-time as a secretary, managing communications, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
Sadie Agronick
Career Services Award
Sadie is graduating with her BBA in Business Management, with a minor in Special Events Marketing. With the assistance of Career Services, Sadie secured and held multiple internship roles. As a Corporate Events Intern at Warner Brothers Discovery, Sadie helped plan and execute internal events, prepared event materials, coordinated logistics, and contributed to team meetings and post-event reporting. As an Event Planning Intern at The JFM Group, Sadie supported the coordination of corporate and nonprofit events, managed guest lists, assisted with event set-up and breakdown, and provided on-site support. Sadie served as a Student Ambassador in the Welcome Center where she led campus tours, assisted with admissions events, and served as a representative for prospective students and their families, and volunteered with University events, including Admissions and Orientation programs. Sadie also spent 3 years as a Peer Leader for University 101, mentoring first-year Lubin students.
Robert Ennis
BBA/MBA Public Accounting Program Award
Robert is receiving the award for the highest GPA in the Combined BBA/MBA program. Robert completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with honors, maintaining an impressive 3.92 undergraduate GPA and 3.83 graduate GPA. Robert was also a four-year member of the Pace University football team, earning NE10 Academic All-Conference honors. Robert demonstrated his commitment to academic and professional excellence as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, while also giving back through community service with the Elmsford Food Pantry, Seton Vacation Bible School, and the Lustgarten Foundation’s Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Robert gained professional experience as an Audit Intern at KPMG LLP during his graduate studies and has since accepted a full-time position as an Audit Associate at their New York City office.
Nicholas Filippone
Accounting Department Award
Nick Filippone is graduating with a BBA in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, a perfect 4.0 in his Accounting major, and earned Dean’s List every semester. For the past five years, during tax season, Nick interned at a small tax accounting firm where he assisted with completing personal and corporate tax returns. He also interned at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection for the summer of 2022. Nick is the current vice president at Pace Cru, and was the past secretary of the Investment Club. He has also been an active member of the Lubin Business Association, Accounting Society, and Pace Chronicle. In addition, Nick runs a successful YouTube channel with a bushcraft theme, which has over 4,000 subscribers and over 3 million total views. Nick plans to continue his studies and sit for the CPA exam, and will be working full-time at the accounting firm he was interning with.
Joshua Joseph
Professional Auditing Award
Joshua is graduating with Cum Laude honors with his Combined BBA and MBA in Public Accounting. Joshua completed a competitive audit internship with Ernst & Young, and received scholarships from EY, KPMG, and Deloitte. Joshua has contributed significantly to the campus community as an Educational Media Operations Supervisor, supporting countless events, and classroom technology, with professionalism and care. Joshua’s BUS 255 professor and academic advisor reflects on his journey with pride—recalling how he grew from an unsure and questioning student into a confident, capable, and inspiring young professional. Joshua completed a competitive audit internship with Ernst & Young, and will begin a full-time role with them in New York City this fall.
Michael Alexandrou
Business Technology Department Award
Michael is a standout in the Business Technology program, and a deserving recipient of this year’s very first Business Technology Department Award. Michael transferred to Pace in the Fall of 2023 and his academic performance has earned him repeated placement on the Dean’s List, and he will graduate Magna Cum Laude this August. Michael is skilled in SQL, Python, PowerBI and AWS Cloud. Michael has shown remarkable technical skill and leadership through his roles at Interpublic Group. During his three years as a Business Control Intern, Michael assisted in the implementation of internal controls procedures, conducted data analysis and audits to identify areas for process improvement, and prepared comprehensive reports and presentations for management, summarizing findings, and recommending corrective actions. As a Business Intelligence Intern since last June, Michael currently co-leads a team as project manager and developer in integrating Financial Planning data from existing databases into AWS cloud platform.
Andrew Savino
Finance Department Award
Andrew Savino is graduating with his BBA in Finance and a minor in economics, achieving a Finance department-high GPA of 3.95. Andrew is a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College, and was also inducted into the Lambda Sigma, Beta Gamma Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Societies. Andrew volunteered in his community, including events such as the Carli’s Angels Charity Softball Game for Hydrocephalus, the Mark Lee Community Outreach Coat Drive for Underprivileged Community, and the JCFD Community Outreach for Underprivileged. Andrew has spent several years as an Editorial Intern for Bayard, Inc, and as a Subcontractor for Savino Appraisals. Last summer Andrew worked as an intern at the United Federation of Teachers in their event planning department. After graduation, Andrew plans on taking the SIE exam, as well as a number of other financial exams including the series exams. He is currently looking for a position within the financial field.
Shannon Selvaggio
Finance Faculty Award
Shannon will be graduating Summa Cum Laude and completed the Combined BBA/MBA Program with a Finance major, a minor in Computer Science, and her MBA in Business Analytics. Shannon was also a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College and was proud to earn a place on the Northeast 10 Academic Honor Roll. Shannon has demonstrated exceptional leadership as a member of the Pace Women’s Varsity Soccer Team, where she served on the team’s leadership group and helped create a positive and collaborative environment on and off the field. Shannon also held multiple roles on campus, including Shift Manager and Marketing Manager at the student-run Pace Perk Café, and Facilities Assistant at Goldstein Gym. Off campus Shannon spent 3 years coaching soccer around the Westchester area for Quickstrike FC. She now sets her sights on combining her business expertise and love for athletics in a future career in sports analytics.
Alyssa Macur
Management Department Award
Alyssa graduated in December with her BBA in Business Management and a minor in Business Analytics with a near-perfect 3.98 GPA. Alyssa balanced being a member of the women’s soccer team with her rigorous curriculum in the Pforzheimer Honors College. Alyssa worked with Pace Athletics, developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and creative services plan to increase awareness, drive attendance and revenue, and promote the brand of Pace Athletics and Pace University. Alyssa worked as a student facilities assistant at the Goldstein Health and Fitness Center and as a Content Tutor in the Learning Commons. Alyssa was a member of the Lubin Business Association, and the Beta Gamma Sigma, Alpha Chi, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Lambda Sigma Honor Societies. Outside of Pace Alyssa worked as an Analytics Intern for the Hudson Valley Hammers. Alyssa is currently attending graduate school at St. John’s University, where she is studying to get her MPS in Sports Management.
Lea Bojorquez
Management Faculty Award
Lea graduated in December Summa Cum Laude with her degree in Business Management, and as a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College. Lea worked as a Business 101 Peer Leader, was an active member of the Accounting Society, and volunteered as Pace Makes a Difference Day. Lea received a Writing Award from the English Department and was on the Dean’s List every one of her semesters, earning a perfect 4.0 in five out of her seven semesters at Pace.
Giuliana Ruggiere
Distinguished Student in Management Award
Giuliana Ruggiere is a member of the Pforzheimer Honors College and is graduating Summa Cum Laude with her BBA in Business Management. Giuliana completed her honors thesis on the topic: Emotional Intelligence in Leadership: A Comparative Analysis of Perceptions Between Male and Female Leaders in Business. Guiliana is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. In addition to her academic achievements, Guiliana spent 2 years working at an Accounting Internship at SCHOTT North America. Assisting with auditing support and successfully completing various miscellaneous projects, she showcased her adaptability and multitasking abilities. Giuliana was recruited for this position at the Pace Career Fair, and has now accepted an offer for a full-time position as an Accounting/Payroll Specialist, starting in July.
John Guzman
Marketing Department Award
John is graduating Summa Cum Laude with his BBA in Global Marketing Management, a minor in Applied Statistics, and his MBA in Information Systems. John has membership in five distinguished Honor Societies: Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Chi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Lambda Sigma, and Alpha Lambda Delta. In addition, John served as Vice President of Marketing for the Lubin Business Association, and Public Relations Officer for the Pace Pleasantville Investment Club. Outside of Pace, John completed internships at Ferrellgas/Blue Rhino working as a Sales/Data Analytics Intern, and Danone, as a Sales Analyst Intern. These experiences allowed John to leverage data-driven strategies in real-world applications. Throughout his academic career, John has exemplified outstanding commitment to his studies, and is excited to take on the next challenge of full-time employment.
Andrew Llamas
Excellence in Marketing Award
Andrew is graduating with his BBA in Marketing with a concentration in Advertising & Integrated Marketing Communications. He co-founded and currently serves as President of the Sales & Professional Development Club, where he has created meaningful opportunities for fellow students to develop interview skills, presentation techniques, and professional confidence. He also serves as Team Captain of the Men’s Lacrosse Team. Andrew completed an internship at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where he contributed to research and go-to-market strategies in the dermatology sector, gaining valuable experience in social listening, campaign analysis, and collaborative project development. Andrew is pursuing a career in Pharmaceutical sales upon graduation.
Shanice Sinclair
American Marketing Association Award
Shanice is graduating with a Combined Degree, a BBA in Global Marketing Management and an MBA in Finance. Shanice served as a two-time team captain of the Pace Women’s Basketball Team. As the Marketing Manager for Pace Delivers, she led the team in creating compelling content on Instagram and TikTok, significantly increasing engagement and driving sales. In her earlier role as Assistant Marketing Manager, she doubled customer interactions through social media strategy, proving her ability to turn data and creativity into results. Shanice served as a Supervisor at the Pace Athletic Center, and also interned at SCHOTT Global, contributing to project management and internal marketing campaigns for employee wellness initiatives. During her summers, Shanice was a camp counselor for the Nike Elite Camp. Shanice has also earned both the Trustee Recognition Award and the Graduate Trustee Recognition Award.
