Office of the Dean for Students

The Office of the Dean for Students fosters a caring, supportive, and vibrant campus community that transforms students' lives by advocating for students and providing systems of support to help students feel valued and that they belong. The Dean for Students serves as the Chief Student Experience and Advocacy Officer and helps bridge the students' academic and co-curricular experience.

Pace’s unique residential education curriculum includes individual outreach and support, First-Year Interest Groups, themed floors, and a differentiated programming approach for personal, professional, and community development.

Housing Administration & Operations ensure optimal residence functioning, providing diverse housing options and tailored programs. Study and sleep in one of more than a dozen residence halls in New York City or Westchester. Explore well-maintained residences for a comfortable and supportive living experience that complements your needs and interests.

The Office of Community Standards upholds the University’s Guiding Principles and community standards in order to protect the rights of each student and the campus community. The team also educates members of the University community on their responsibility for fostering and maintaining respect for the dignity and uniqueness of one another.

The Counseling Center helps students with the various challenges they may face that can affect their ability to live well, relate to others, and succeed academically. Services are confidential and include individual and group counseling as well as referrals to community resources. Our staff is committed to providing safe, accessible, cost-effective, culturally sensitive, and student-focused care.

The Student Government Association (SGA) at Pace University is dedicated to amplifying the student voice, championing rights, and fostering leadership development. Commuter Student Services, a student-run organization, is dedicated to enriching the experience of commuter students. We provide tailored support and services to meet the unique needs of our commuter community, fostering a connected and vibrant campus experience.

Student Accessibility Services at Pace University is committed to ensuring an inclusive environment. We provide personalized support and accommodations, empowering students to thrive academically and engage fully in campus life.

The Office of Safety and Security ensures the safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Pace University by providing a 24-hours a day, 365 days per year, security presence on our New York City and Westchester campuses.

UHC offers a full range of primary health care services to Pace University students, faculty, and staff. UHC is staffed by Nurse Practitioners, who are advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) and Certified Medical Assistants.

At the core of the Office of Multicultural Affairs (ōMA) mission is the commitment to provide opportunities and venues for Pace University and external communities to examine, discuss, debate, collaborate and develop partnerships around themes that perpetuate (un)checked power, privilege, marginalization and social injustices.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Asexual, and Ally (LGBTQA+) Center is an important part of the Pace Community. By proudly promoting identity expression, self-determination, and exploration for all students, faculty, and staff, the Center creates an inclusive and supportive environment on campus. Students are highly encouraged to participate and even lead efforts in advocacy, education, activism, and programming in an overall commitment to social justice.
