The Dean for Students chairs first alert meetings three times a semester. The goal of the first alert team is to intervene when necessary to help students get back on track. At times, there may be behavioral or social concerns that may be affecting a student’s ability to be successful at Pace. One or more of the first alert team members will contact a student when necessary and assist the student in creating an action plan designed to help the student succeed. This includes professional staff from each of the school’s advising offices:
- Counseling Services
- Student Accessibility Services
- Student Engagement Pleasantville
- Student Engagement New York City
- First Year Experience
- Advising Center for Exploring Majors
- Honors program
- International Students
- Health Center
- Housing and Residential Life
- Office of the Registrar
- Student Accounts
- Multicultural Affairs
- Athletics
- Security and Emergency Management
