Orientation sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Check-in will be at One Pace Plaza View directions to campus.
*Session recommended for students admitted into the College of Health Professions.
Please note: Currently, our summer Orientation dates are scheduled to happen as normal, however the University is continuing to monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 public health situation. If there are any changes to our scheduled summer Orientation programs, registrants will be notified immediately. Please stay tuned for more information.
Take these three steps to get started on your pace path right away.
Step 1: Register for one of our required Orientation sessions and complete the questionnaire.
It it important that you register for an Orientation session. Students who attend Orientation without registering may not receive an updated Transfer Credit Evaluation, which can impact course registration.
Step 2: If required, take the online placement test(s) in English and math immediately after registering for Orientation. You will receive a letter from the Office of Undergraduate Admission if you need to take any of these tests.
Step 3: Submit the following official documents to the Office of Undergraduate Admission, prior to attending Orientation and no later than August 1.
- Official copies of transcripts, with grades from all colleges previously attended
- Syllabi of any courses for which this has been requested on your transfer credit evaluation
- Official Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) scores
- Official final high school transcript with graduation date or proof of high school graduation
After these three steps, be sure to:
- If you are interested, submit an appointment request to meet with a Financial Aid Counselor during Orientation.
- Submit your photo for your Pace ID card.
- Access your Pace email account and check it regularly.
- Start off on your Pace Path by attending these campus events in the fall semester.
What To Expect at Orientation
Orientation is designed to give you an introduction to the University and prepare you for your first semester of classes. You will have the opportunity to meet future classmates and an academic advisor, register for courses, and learn about campus life, internship opportunities, study abroad, and more!
Families are invited to join in on the fun and information provided at Orientation, meet members of the Pace Community, explore the campus and surrounding area, and learn more about how to support their student on their Pace Path.
Families and guests wishing to attend should be included when the student registers for Orientation online.
