The English Language Institute is located at Pace University’s Lower-Manhattan campus. The building entrance is located on William Street between Ann and Beekman. All visitors must bring a government issued Photo ID to enter the Pace campuses. View the Pace University New York City Map.

Visiting the ELI Office by Subway

Not all trains run at all times and subway schedules are subject to change. For current schedules, weekly service advisories, and maps contact the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) at (718) 330-1234 or visit the subway section of the MTA Web site.

  • 2 and 3: Take 2 or 3 trains to either Park Place (then walk east across City Hall Park to the campus) or to Fulton St. Station.
  • A and C: Take the A or C trains to Fulton St. Station. Exit at Fulton and William St.
  • 4, 5, and 6: Take the 4, 5, or 6 trains to the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall Station (last stop on the 6). Take exit marked City Hall.
  • J and Z: Take the J or Z trains to Fulton St. Station. Exit at Fulton and William St.
  • R: Take the R Local to City Hall Station, then walk east across City Hall Park to campus.
  • You can find subway directions to Pace University from your current location by using Citymapper.

The English Language Institute is located at Pace University’s Law School campus in White Plains in Aloysia Hall on the third floor.

Visiting the ELI Office by Car

Please refer to detailed driving directions on the Pace Law School website.

Visiting the ELI Office by Train

Take the Harlem Line of the Metro-North Railroad to the White Plains station. For schedule information, call Metro-North direct at 1-800-METRO-INFO or visit the Metro-North Web site.

From the White Plains Metro North Station you can do one of the following:

  • Take a taxi to the School of Law.
  • Walk across the street to the Transit Center and take a Bee-Line #6 bus to the Law School.
  • Walk east on Hamilton Ave. for four blocks, then turn left onto North Broadway; and walk north for less than 1/2 a mile to the campus on your right.
  • Take the Pace Shuttle Service

Visiting the ELI Office by Bus

All major bus carriers and all lines of the Bee-Line Bus System of Westchester County service the Transit Center in White Plains, which is located directly across the street from the White Plains Metro North Train Station. For schedule information, contact your carrier (Greyhound, etc.) or the Bee-Line system at (914) 813-7777 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays, or visit the Bee-Line Bus System Web site.

From the Transit Center you can do one of the following:

  • Take a #6 Bee-Line Bus one stop to the corner of Main St. and North Broadway, then walk north up Broadway for less than 1/2 a mile to the campus on your right.
  • Take a taxi from the Transit Center or from the White Plains train station (directly across the street) to the Law School.
  • Walk east on Hamilton Ave. for four blocks, then turn left onto North Broadway and walk north for less than 1/2 a mile to the campus on your right.
  • Take the Pace Shuttle Service
