Leadership and Management

Join the Leadership and Management course through Pace University's International Special Programs department. This 5-day course is perfect for international students who want to learn about important theories and ideas in leadership and management, blending theory with practical application, all while exploring exciting New York City!

Courses

The minimum English proficiency to be successful in the Leadership and Management course is CEFR B2+, minimum TOEFL score of 80, or IELTS score of 6.5. Students will be sent a placement exam at the time of registration.

Important Information for Leadership and Management Students

The minimum age for this course is 18, and it is best suited for students who are currently studying in an undergraduate or graduate school program, or working professionals.

Placement Exam

You will receive an email with instructions on how to complete your placement exam as soon as your application has been submitted. Some students may also be asked to schedule an additional advising session with a member of our academic team. Check your email for instructions from the English Language Institute!

Students may participate in the Leadership and Management Summer program on a B1/B2, H1, J1, L1, R1 visa, or ESTA. Permanent Residents and U.S. Citizens may also participate.

Accommodations

Homestay Options 2026

Staying with a local family is a great way to experience life in New York and practice your English outside of class. Choose either a private or shared room in the home of a local family. All homestays are accessible to Pace University by public transportation. Breakfast is included, and dinner and lunch are optional.

To find a homestay, please complete the homestay application form. Make sure to indicate Pace University as your school.

Private Room (Brooklyn) 2026

  • Private room (includes daily breakfast): $479.00
  • Dinner: $110.00 (for two weeks) *optional
  • Minor Fee (for students 16–18 years old): $50.00
  • Move in: 1 day before classes begin (i.e. Sunday).
  • Move out: The Saturday after classes finish.

Shared Room (Brooklyn) 2026

  • Shared room (includes daily breakfast): $402.50
  • Dinner: $110.00 (for two weeks) *optional
  • Minor Fee (for students 16–18 years old): $50.00
  • Move in: 1 day before classes begin (i.e. Sunday).

Private Room (Manhattan) 2026

Campus Meal Plan (optional)

  • The Pace University cafeteria will be open every day, including weekends, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students wishing to eat on campus may add meal plan dollars to their Student ID Card to use in the cafeteria.
