Liz Hayes is a performing and teaching artist and dialect coach. In addition to teaching voice & speech in the BFA Acting & Musical Theater Programs at Pace University, she also teaches voice & speech and dialects in the MFA Acting Program at Brooklyn College. Liz has served on the faculties of Syracuse University’s Tepper Semester, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Emerson College and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts. She has vocal and dialect coached for numerous theater companies and institutions in both Boston and NYC, including the Huntington Theatre Company, Playwrights Horizons and the Juilliard School, and was the on-set dialect coach for Sony Pictures’ Professor Marston and the Wonder Women. As a performing artist, Liz's most recent credits include Into the Woods with Fiasco Theater (Roundabout Theatre Co. and Menier Chocolate Factory in London), the New England premiere of George Brant’s Grounded (The Gamm Theatre), Informed Consent (Gulfshore Playhouse), and she has appeared with many Boston-based companies, including New Repertory Theatre, SpeakEasy Stage, the Lyric Stage, Gloucester Stage, Central Square Theater, Stoneham Theater, Boston Playwright’s Theatre and the Elliot Norton Award-winning Orfeo Group, of which she was a founding artist. Liz is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA and VASTA, holds an MFA from GWU/The Shakespeare Theatre Company, and is a graduate of Brown University.
