Academic and Personal Support

From the moment you contact us to apply or ask questions about studying English in New York, we are here to help you. We love having students from around the world here at the ELI, and it is our mission to make you feel welcome and to help you achieve academic success, meet your goals, enjoy New York, and feel confident, safe and comfortable every step of the way.

We provide you with admissions, immigration, and academic support throughout your stay. Before you leave home, we will help you through the admissions process. We will give you all the information and support you need via email and/ or Skype meetings and counseling and will help you pass your visa interview and place you in the correct level before you arrive. You will receive a detailed post-Arrival orientation so you feel comfortable and ready to start classes on your first day.

During your stay here, will have all the support and help you need to adapt to life in the US and to achieve academic success. Our academic advisors and instructors closely monitor your progress and provide additional support as needed. Our friendly administrative staff are always available to help and advise you, and your instructors are all very approachable and care about all of their students deeply. You will be and feel supported and safe from start to finish and as a result, have an increased chance of success.
