Everyday English Skills

This course is for students who already have an Intermediate level of English (B1 level or higher). The course will help you improve important English skills such as reading, vocabulary, listening, grammar, and writing for personal, social, professional, or academic purposes.

In this course, you will practice understanding and using English through real-world examples and useful exercises. This course can help you with English for your personal life, school, work, or social situations.

Course format

  • In-person – Study in-person on our New York City campus in Manhattan
  • Online – If you are not able to study in-person, join the class online via Zoom!

Who can join?

Students should have an English level of:

  • CEFR B1, or
  • TOEFL 55, or
  • IELTS 5.5

You will receive a placement exam at the time of registration to help determine your level. This course will help you start your English studies with confidence!
