Resources

Below you'll find our ever growing list of mental health resources, as well as helpful Pace University resources designed with your success in mind.

HeartMath

HeartMath is an evidenced based intervention that helps us understand how our emotions impact our well-being, performance, and relationships. Through the HeartMath program, individuals learn how to better identify draining emotions and attitudes, replace them with renewing emotions and attitudes, resulting in long-standing desirable changes in physiological, mental, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

The "De-Stress Kit for the Changing Times (PDF)," from Doc Childre, the founder of HeartMath, was created in 2008 during the economic crisis. Though created in 2008, the content of the De-Stress Kit is relevant today as we are experiencing increased personal, economical, global, political, and environmental stress in our fast-changing world.

The HeartMath intervention program is offered and available to students at the Pace University Westchester Counseling Center as a stress management strategy. For further inquiries or to make a HeartMath appointment, call the Counseling Center at (914) 773-3710 or walk into the Counseling Center in the Administration Building, 2nd floor, between 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
