    Career Skills Development Series

  • The International Relations Summer Program at Pace University’s English Language Institute is a 2-week course for international students. It helps you improve your English and learn about international relations through the exciting Model UN (United Nations) format.

    Before you come to New York City, you will complete 8 hours of online study to prepare for the program.

    When you arrive, you will attend interactive classes where you will learn important skills for international relations. These classes include lectures, group discussions, and activities to help you understand diplomacy, global issues, and how to solve conflicts. You will also improve your language skills, such as reading, listening, speaking, and writing.

    Classes are 4 hours per day, Monday to Thursday, with fun activities on Fridays.

    During the program, you will have chances to practice your skills in a helpful and friendly environment. You will learn how to do research, make strong arguments, and negotiate well. You will also learn about different cultures and ways of thinking. The program also teaches you how international politics work and how to work well with a team.

    International Relations Summer School

  • The Leadership and Entrepreneurship Program at Pace University’s English Language Institute is a 2-week course for international students. It helps you improve your English and learn about leadership and business skills in exciting New York City!

    Before you arrive in New York, you will complete 8 hours of online study to help you get ready for the program.

    This program has three main parts that cover the journey of starting and growing a business. You will learn both theory and practice in an interesting and fun way.

    First, you will study the basics of leadership and entrepreneurship. You will take part in group discussions and hands-on activities to understand creative thinking, business ideas, and careful planning.

    Next, you will learn about important business skills like legal rules, finances, and marketing strategies. You will also explore customer service and how to use resources well.

    Finally, you will learn how to use different leadership styles and understand the importance of innovation. You will work together with your classmates to look at business ideas from a global view and learn how to grow a business successfully.
