Deloitte Foundation - Pace University Accounting Scholars and Scholarship Program

The Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program is partnering with Pace University to attract top talent and expand access to the CPA profession. Together, the Deloitte Foundation and Pace will provide up to ten full-tuition scholarships to qualified applicants pursuing a fifth-year master’s degree in accounting with a concentration in audit, advisory, or tax during the 2026–2027 academic year. This program is designed to support students in meeting the 150-credit hour requirement for CPA eligibility.

Coverage

Recipients will be recognized as Deloitte Accounting Scholars and will receive full financial support for tuition and applicable academic fees during their final year of graduate study, provided they graduate by or before December 2027.

This support applies to:

  • Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 for students graduating in May 2027, or
  • Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 for students graduating in December 2027

Note: Winter and Summer semesters are not included.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in, or have completed, an undergraduate degree at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Have a valid U.S. address; non-U.S. citizens must also hold a valid visa.
  • Meet Pace University’s graduate admission requirements for AACSB-accredited MBA or MS programs in accounting.
  • Be committed to a career in public accounting or taxation and to pursuing CPA licensure (not already licensed as a CPA).
  • Demonstrate financial need with a completed FAFSA on file.

Requirements

Recipients must enroll in one of Lubin School of Business’s graduate accounting programs for the required semesters: Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 for students graduate in May 2027, or Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 for students who graduate in December 2027:

  • Graduate accounting programs (MS and MBA)
  • Combined programs (BBA/MBA Accounting, BBA Accounting/MS Taxation, BBA Accounting/MS Finance)
  • Graduate programs in taxation and finance (for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting)
  • Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher each semester. Scholarship support will be discontinued if the GPA falls below this standard.
  • Students must be registered for a minimum of 9 credits each semester

Policy for Class Withdrawal

Scholarship funds will be applied to recipients’ Pace student accounts at the beginning of each semester, covering registered credits at the per-credit rate published by the University. If a recipient withdraws from any registered courses during the semester, they are required to notify the Scholarship Committee and the Accounting Department in writing prior to officially withdrawing from classes. Failure to do so will result in discontinuation of the scholarship.

How to Apply

Students new to Pace University must apply and be accepted for graduate admission to Pace University and be admitted to the Lubin School of Business, and submit a copy of admission letter.

Current Lubin students should contact their Lubin School of Business academic advisor for admission. Applicants must provide letter of Proof of Graduate Status as of September 2026.
