Pace Global Fellows

Pace's Global Fellows program is a rigorous, selective study abroad program focused on internships or research with community engagement. As a Pace Global Fellow, you'll be immersed in the culture and language of the host country, living and studying in local communities. However, you don't need to have prior language training.

What sets Pace Global Fellows programs apart?

  • Students are required to learn the local language through one of their courses
  • Most programs include homestay accommodation and are in non-traditional destinations
  • Challenging academic coursework. Learn how to conduct research and work within the field. Note: all programs have prescriptive coursework.
  • Competitive entry, with only 10 openings for Pace students each semester
  • Hands-on experience in issues and opportunities of international development
  • Resume-enhancing skills and experiences that benefit students applying to graduate school or prestigious fellowships (such as Fulbright or Pace Honors Thesis)

What are the application requirements?

  • 2.5 GPA
  • Statement of Purpose Essay (500 words or 1 page, max). When composing your essay, explain how you envision the Pace Global Fellows program will impact your academic, professional, and personal goals.
  • Pace community engagement upon return. All students who are accepted into the Pace Global Fellows Program are required to share their experiences with the Pace community through events sponsored by the Pace Education Abroad office.

Applicants who are U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to apply to national scholarships relevant to their program.
