The Network and Telecommunications Services departments support Pace's mission by providing a reliable and highly available data and voice communications infrastructure. To achieve its mission, the Network and Telecommunications Services departments design, install, operate, and maintain systems and services required to bring data, voice, and cable-TV services to all Pace University owned campus locations.
Our responsibilities include: evaluation of new technologies; design, installation, maintenance, and service of data and voice networking equipment; negotiation and selection of appropriate data, voice, and cable-TV providers; operation of the Pace Information Center (311); configuration and maintenance of the Internet and campus backbone data network connections; wireless network infrastructure; cable-TV distribution infrastructure; and all other related data and voice network services.
